1.Never feel sad with low marks in mock tests
As this is the time when many students give full portion mock tests for the first time and it is natural to get low marks in some tests. Don’t worry about it, analyse your test for 1-2 hours, revise accordingly and be ready to give the next mock test.
2.Avoid doing any new books or material
Best strategy now is to thoroughly revise your own notes, formula sheets, books and modules which you have already done.
3.Do not get puzzled with difficult topics
If you are stuck with a difficult topic and unable to focus on your strong topics, you will lose important and precious time now. First prepare all your strong topics and make them stronger.
4. Do prepare specific JEE mains topics
There are few JEE Mains topics. Usually one question from each topic comes in the exams. Give some time to the JEE Mains topics along with JEE Advanced topics.
5. Do not avoid giving mock tests or previous year questions papers
Many students are afraid of their level of preparation and avoid attempting tests as they are afraid of getting low marks. Attempt as many mock tests as possible as they will give you a correct judgement and can still improve your performance to a great extent.
6.Keep strict time strategy in mock tests
In JEE Mains exams, speed matters a lot. Keep track of time to attempt questions, as this will help you identify how much you are able to complete within time of the test. Try not to waste time getting stuck on any question.
7.Eat and sleep well
In an attempt to study more, if you wake up till late at night and don’t complete your sleep, you will develop mental fog and you will be unable to focus better. So complete your 7-8 hours of sleep.
Similarly eat on time and give equal importance to the times at which you eat your food. If possible, having simple homemade food helps you with good immunity, fights from diseases and keeps you energetic.
Try to give your best efforts now and be prepared to appear for a second attempt as well!
