During preparation, children may often feel tired or have low energy on days. There are several reasons why they could feel lazy and tired. It is important to understand these issues and take measures to prevent them. We tell you some of the health tips that can help prevent laziness and fatigue:

  1. Eat less greasy food

Many students start eating food items rich in butter, cheese and oils, such as pizza, burgers, rolls, brownies, etc., as they taste better than simple homemade food. These foods taste better but give a sluggish feeling due to the slow digestion of these foods. It’s very important to understand that these foods are unhealthy and are responsible for many health issues and concentration problems. Their intake should be limited.

  1. Take good eye care

There could be feelings of tiredness and eye strain while studying for long hours. Always take some breaks, sprinkle water on your eyes and wash your eyes with clean water. It immediately gives a fresh feeling. Apart from this, you should do this every morning while brushing your teeth.

  1. Be mindful of your posture

Having a study space, table, and chair for your JEE or NEET preparation is ideal. This table and chair combination helps maintain good posture and avoid laziness. When you lie down and study or use the bed to study, getting distracted is easier, or you may encounter some back pain or pain in the long run. Try to maintain a good table and chair and study on them.

  1. Avoid very late sleeping habits

During JEE and NEET preparation, sometimes students stay up late even when they have early morning classes. Ensuring a good night’s sleep during preparation is crucial for an alert mind in class and tests. When you sleep for at least 6-7 hours every day, you can focus much better. Along the same lines, avoiding device usage just before sleeping is better. This will ensure you have a better quality of sleep at night.

Even from our personal experiences, we have followed these points during our preparation and selection. Thus, we preach what we have practised and recommend that you undertake all these healthy habits.

All the best!
